Tuesday evening (20th September) at the EBB Stadium sees Aldershot Town entertain npower League 1 side Rochdale in the third round of the Carling Cup.
It is the first time the club has reached this stage of the competition; the prize is a place in the last 16!
Indeed Aldershot FC (1926-1992) only ever reached the third round once in 1984 before losing at home to Norwich City in front of nearly 10,000 spectators.
Manager Dean Holdsworth told the clubs official website: "It will be a cup final atmosphere in a one off game and we hope that we are going to raise the roof at the EBB Stadium and that the fans come along. I hope that the match is a great spectacle."
Aldershot enter this stage of the competition after impressive victories at Championship front runners West Ham United and at home to Carlisle United.
Rochdale have also experienced an upset defeating FA Premier League QPR at Loftus Road in the second round.

A large crowd is expected and supporters are asked to arrive early.
Turnstiles open at 6.15pm whilst there is an early turnstile at 5.30pm for supporters wishing to access the South Stand and the Phoenix Bar.
