Kids For A Quid vs Cheltenham Town

Last updated : 25 August 2011 By The Shots Trust

Saturday 3rd September's npower League home game against Cheltenham Town sees the first Kids for a Quid match of the season.

All under 16's will be able to gain entry to the ground for just £1.

As in previous years the club will be working in partnership with Eagle Radio to promote this popular event and their Managing Director Paul Marcus said:   "As a long-time Aldershot supporter I am delighted that Eagle Radio will be working closely again with the club this season.

"In particular the Kids for a Quid promotion demonstrates the club's commitment to the future generations of Shots' supporters".

Club manager Dean Holdsworth said:  "This is a fantastic opportunity and I was delighted to hear about the kids for a Quid scheme.

"It will give families the chance to watch league football at an affordable price and in this day and age that is important.

"I am sure it will be a success and will add to the atmosphere at the match."

The club asks that any Under 12 either on their own or in a group are accompanied by a responsible adult.  It is hoped that there will be a real family atmosphere at the match with this offer in place.
There will be three further matches with this offer during the season on the 29th October, 21st January and 17th March.  Why not put them in your diary now and come and join in with the excitement at the EBB Stadium?
