The Shots Football in the Community officer, Kirk Wheeler, has organised a special day for this seasons Rushmoor derby which includes "Kids for a Quid" and one better - FREE admission for all juniors under the age of 16, if accompanied by a paying adult.
This offer is in conjunction with the Aldershot News who will print vouchers in the lead up to the game. Vouchers have been issued to all local schools and will also be available outside the turnstiles on the day of the game which kicks off at 3pm at the Recreation Ground.
Both club mascots will be on parade during the afternoon along with the Dairycrest cow from the community day sponsors.
Seventeen primary schools have been invited to wear their own club kits to form a colourful guard of honour for the players as they enter the field. At half time there will be a penalty shoot out between Rushmoor Mallards (Farnborough) and Mencap Aldershot Branch (Aldershot). This will be a great day for the family and promises to be the most memorable and colourful derby day so far.
So why not make a day of it - the club have done there part - I'm sure !FLAGBOY! and crew will be doing theres so why not bring the whole family and cheer on the Shots to help them to another vital 3 points?
