The book is due to be published in the next month and tells the story of Nikki's life before, during and after the Rec, starting with his days as a Queens Park Rangers youngster.
He told the local paper, “I've been with Aldershot for three and a half years and in that time I've experienced things that some people might never get in their whole careers,” he told the News.
"I've been through promotion, a Play-Off final in our first season in the Conference, a Play-Off semi-final, even taking a penalty in normal time.
“It's been unbelievable and it's something I thought people might be interested in. I'm a great believer in giving back as much as you take, and I've had a lot of support and good times at Aldershot and writing this book is a chance for me to give something back.”
Indeed, the 24-year-old holds the Shots faithful in high esteem: “The Aldershot fans are very passionate about their club and for them it's a 365-day a year commitment, but they only get to watch 90 minutes a week. I see what goes on every day and it's chance to let them know what goes on in training, off the pitch, at the club and away from the club."
With thanks to the Aldershot News.
