CONSORTIUM MEMBER Tony Knights has released a book telling of his twenty-three year career in the army before turning to the business world and ultimately ending up in the Boardroom of Aldershot Town Football Club.
1000 copies of the book, Bullets To Boardroom have already been sold since its release on July 27th which was finished during the disagreements within the club after it was relegated from the Football League, and although it doesn’t cover the consortiums successful take-over, Knights still feels that his book contains more than enough that supporters will identify with.
“I’ve been absolutely honest,” he told reporter Pete Bryant from the News & Mail.
“It was a time last season when the fans and sponsors weren’t looked after. Everything I put in the book is absolutely true.
“It’s an interesting read and I think a lot of the fans will understand it as they were part of it.”
25% of the profits of the book will be invested back into Aldershot Town FC. To purchase your copy, visit www.tonyknights.co.uk.
