Charles Mortimore Trophy Match Will Go Ahead

Financially struggling Farnborough Town FC have confirmed that the annual Charles Mortimore Trophy match against the Shots will take place again this season however it will need to be played during or at the end of the season.

Both the Shots and Boro are having tough times player wise at the moment and as both sides have also arranged pre-season friendlies, the most likely option will see the match played at the end of the season - which would help maximise publicity for the game.

Farnborough have recently applied to go into administration following errors that were found to have been made on their IR payments.
