The match should provide interest for Shots supporters following the progress of defender Louie Soares who has received a call-up from the Barbados FA and is hoping to become the first Shots player to gain full International honours while at the club.
Soares, who turned 22-years old today, spoke to the clubs official website ahead of flying out saying, " It all started when my brother's agent phoned my brother to see if I was interested and I jumped at the chance.
"We will have three matches during the competition and I am looking forward to it. My brother Tom has played for England Under 21's before and for me this is a great honour for me too.
"To be the first player that may be capped as an Aldershot Town player is exciting too. I am not familiar with the Barbados set up and I will be meeting many new people too but I am sure that this will be an experience where I can truly benefit."
The first match being featured after the opening ceremnoy will be Trinidad & Tobago vs Barbados and it is hoped that Soares will play a part in the first team at some point.
