The Skrill South website has reported that Jamie Young has joined Hayes & Yeading.

Hayes and Yeading boss Phil Babb has strengthened his options between the sticks with the signing of former Aldershot goalkeeper Jamie Young.

The 28-year-old joins United from fellow Skrill South outfit Whitehawk, and also had a short spell at Basingstoke at the start of the season.

Commenting on the capture of the former Reading trainee, Babb told West London Sport: "We're delighted to bring another quality addition into the squad.

"We have two fantastic goalkeepers at the club now in Jamie and Mikhael [Jaimez-Ruiz] and the healthy competition that brings will only serve the club well."

Young made over 120 appearances for Aldershot prior to his release at the end of the 2012/13 season, and also donned the colours of Wycombe Wanderers.
