Former Shots boss Dean Holdsworth has been appointed first team manager of Conference South club Chelmsford City.
The former Wimbledon striker had been unemployed following his sacking from Aldershot Town in February following a dismal two-years which saw some of the most uninspiring football ever played in Aldershot along with the most bizarre use of the loan market ever witnessed at the club.
The 44-year old however has returned to a league where he had great success previously so it may not be all doom and gloom for the Essex based side.
