The cup, named after a former Rotary president, was given to commemorate the Shots' outstanding contribution to the community through their victorious campaign in the Blue Square Premier League and winning the Setanta Shield competition last season.
Aldershot Rotary president Mike Tilston said: "The football club's return to league status has really brought a sense of pride back to Aldershot, which has brought a great buzz back to the town.
"Our thanks go to all concerned with the club, including past captains, past managers and of course the incredibly hard working and loyal supporters' club. Mr McGinty's been at the club for some time and has really contributed something outstanding to the town."
