Aldershot Town are looking to construct a temporary 250-seater stand at the High Street End of the EBB Stadium.
The decision to build the stand enables the club to fulfil the necessary criteria of 2000 covered seats required for Football League membership without any disruption to existing supporters.
It will be named the 1992 Community Stand and will be used exclusively to encourage new and particularly the younger generation of supporter to attend matches and there will be no match day ticket sales for League matches.
To help support this venture an invitation has been issued to the Aldershot Town Supporters Trust and Shots Football in the Community scheme to engage in the creation of the 20-year legacy and Trust members have already received an email asking for members opinions in this worthwhile project.
