Skysports.com have reported that they understand that former Portsmouth winger Paris Cowan-Hall is training with The Shots.
Cowan-Hall is available on a free transfer after leaving former club Scunthorpe United at the end of the 2010-11 season and is now believed to be linked up with the club.
During his time at Portsmouth, the 20-year-old failed to make a first-team appearance and had a spell on loan with Grimsby Town before movingon to Scunthorpe last autumn.
He only made one substitute's appearance for the Iron and undertook a stint on loan at Rushden & Diamonds before being let go by Alan Knill.
The wide-man has featured for both Gillingham and Newport County during the pre-season and it is nothing un-usual for out of contract players to join clubs to retain their fitness so it may be nothing more than speculation.
