Chalfont St Peter striker Charlie Strutton has joined Aldershot Town on a trial basis this week in the hopeof landing a proffessional deal with Dean Holdsworth's side.
The 22-year old has been the Saints top scorer for the last three seasons and scored 36 times last season as the Buckinghamshire based side gained promotion to the Evo-Stick Division One Central.
Two years ago the youngster had an unsuccessful trial with Dagenham & Redbridge but Saints boss Danny Edwards told the paper: "Charlie has been training with Aldershot this week and we would be ecstatic if he did get offered a deal.
"He is a great lad and great player and has been superb for Chalfont. We would be delighted for him but he is still a Chalfont player until we hear otherwise."
