Just as Aldershot Town FC, Reptons and the Supporters Club had settled their differences, the news has broken that the Supporters Club are no longer running their coach service to away games.
Although no reason has been given, the original deal is thought to have fallen through after Shots boss Kevin Dillon wanted the Reptons coach driver (who at the time supplied the official team coach) to make an un0interuppted return to Aldershot following a fixture up north.
Given the rules governing the permitted time one driver can make without a break, the coach driver obviously refused - a decision that sparked a row between the club and the coach firm.
These differences appeared to have been resolved and the Supporters Club resumed their service over the last few games, however a spanner appears to have been thrown in the works yet again with the Supporters Club confirming that it will be unable to offer the service - starting with this weekends away tie against Chesterfield.
