The Aldershot-born former Chairman has offered to pay for four luxury 50 seater coaches to enable 200 Shots supporters to travel to Dover Athletic on Saturday 27th November. Speaking about his offer Owens said, "This is my way of saying thank you to the loyal supporters of our club and in particular during my tenure as Chairman.
"All that I ask is that supporters on each coach engage in a whip-round and I will personally donate all the proceeds towards the repair of the club's tannoy system".
It is confirmed that the Supporters' Trust have agreed to make all the organisational arrangements for the coaches. Bookings will need to be made in person at Saturday's home match versus Chesterfield at the Trust Offices located at the High Street end of the North Stand.
Owens concluded with a message to the supporters adding, "Have a great day out and get behind Kevin, his staff and the players and let's get our club into the third round of the FA Cup. As always your support will be our 12th man".
A delighted Kevin Dillon said, "This is a brilliant gesture from Terry. I think it will cost him a fair few quid though but it will be great for the supporters who will be able to travel together and build the atmosphere before the match.
"Terry has been great. He provides fruit to all the players for every home match and it is greatly appreciated. It is good to see him still actively involved with the club."
Supporters are reminded that the Dover match is all ticket and tickets must be purchased in advance for this match.
