Shots striker Danny Hylton spoke to BBC Radio Surrey following Tuesday evening's 1-1 draw against Gillingham and was happy to get what he hopes was the first of many goals in the coming weeks.
"Its been a long time coming, its taken ages, but its been my bitrhday, I've signed a new contract and scored the goal."
Speaking about his new contract, he said: "When Kevin Dillon was manager here he was trying to get me out quite badly.
"I thought about moving a tiny bit. But my family and the players told me to hang on and see what happens. It's funny how things change like that."
