The visitors, who still are going for the Combination League title named a very strong and experienced side containing a large number of first team squad players.

The Shots lined up in a 4-4-2 formation with Breen in goal, a back four of Powell, Hardy, Hibbet and Sean Davies; a midfield of Jones, Madders, Day, Parker; and a forward two of Ali-Adetuyi and Read.
