Shots fielded a young side, with four of the current youth team starting. Louis Wells returned in goal, with James Powell and Jason Milletti fullbacks, and George Hardy and Phil Anderson central defence. In midfield were Kirk Hudson, trialist Jeff Gowland, Ben Finn and Craig Parker. Danny Hylton and Mark Pritchard were paired again in attack.
