Aldershot Town Reserves face 4th-placed Leyton Orient at the EBB Stadium on Tuesday afternoon in the first of two fixtures against their opposition in three days.
With The Shots currently sitting just one place behind the O's, victory would ensure that they leapfrog their visitors - for at least a few days at least, before the two clubs face each other again this coming Thursday afternoon.
Speaking to The Shots Online after securing a play-off place at the weekend, Shots manager Kevin Dillon said: "These Reserve games are important for us.
"We've got a week between first team matches so it will be an ideal situation to give some match practice to those players who didn't feature against Lincoln or who only played for part of the game."
John Halls, Ben Harding, Dave Winfield, Kirk Hudson, Danny Hylton, Louie Soares and Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz are all set to feature for The Shots, while there is no team news available from Leyton Orient.
