Aldershot Town Reserves vs Leyton Orient Reserves

Last updated : 06 September 2010 By Mike Wray

Reserve team football returns to the EBB Stadium on Tuesday afternoon as League One side Leyton Orient send their second string to North Hampshire as both teams open their 2010-11 accounts.

Following a hectic seven days, Shots boss Kevin Dillon has signalled his intention to rest many of his first choice players and the side is largely expected to comprise of youth team players, however there should be starts for those who made the bench at the weekend meaning Clayton Fortune, John Halls, Damian Spencer and Jermaine McGlashan should all feature as they look to gain further exposure to competitive match conditions.

Speaking about McGlashan's contribution to the first team at the weekend, Dillon told The Stray Shots: "Jermaine came on and he's got two fouls, he's got three or four corners, he's crossed the ball in four or five times and that was in fifteen minutes - if that. So, he's been a big difference to me but at this moment in time, he's just not quite ready to start but he's certainly an exciting prospect."
