Brighton & Hove Albion Reserves vs Aldershot Town Reserves

Aldershot Town Reserves face their final "away" fixture of the campaign on Wednesday evening, when they face Bob Booker's fourth placed Brighton & Hove Albion in what will be a difficult test for both injury-hit sides.

Having suffered a 2-0 defeat at the EBB Stadium back in September, "revenge" will be furthest from the minds of coach Martin Khul and first team manager Gary Waddock, who will not have arrived back from their sides League Two tussle against Port Vale until the early hours but instead, the match will offer a window of opportunity to several triallists who will be looking to catch the eye of the management team.

Speaking to The Shots following Monday morning's first team training session, boss Gary Waddock said, 'There's no secret that we're down to the bear-bones at the moment and that will make things very difficult against Brighton as it's doubtful we'll have many - if any of our squad players available for the match.

"It's not ideal because the youth side are also in action against a side from the USA who are over here touring so that's ruled them out, so all I can say is that the team will be made up mainly from players on trial."
