A place in the Hampshire Senior Cup Final awaits the victors of Tuesday evenings Semi Final tie between Fleet Town and The Shots as Tim Coe's [pictured] Aldershot Youth side are presented with another opportunity to impress.
Speaking to the clubs official website - The Shots Online following Saturday's 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Burton Albion boss Kevin Dillon stated that Dean Howell, Louie Soares, Omer Riza and Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz were all likely to feature in the match saying: "I was disappointed with today's performance and there will be a great deal of extra training next week so Tim [Coe] will have the opportunity to take charge once again.
"His players have done well in previous rounds and it will be another great opportunity for them to demonstrate what they are capable of - it is another big game and a fantastic experience for them to gain competitive match action against strong opposition and I'll wish them well."
Having battled their way through against Cove and Farnborough in recent weeks, facing the current holders of the silverware on their home turf will certainly be another tough ask and with the Ryman League One South side looking to avenge the previous two defeats they have suffered at the hands of The Shots in the same competition, the challenge will be even harder.
With the First Team not at home for another couple of weeks, why not get along and support the Youth players in their bid to make the Final as well as helping to raise some funds for one of our local neighbours?
