QPR Reserves vs Aldershot Town Reserves

It may well be an away fixture for Gary Waddock and Martin Kuhl's side on Wednesday afternoon, but with Queen's Park Rangers Reserves using the EBB Stadium this season, supporters can enjoy watching the players in yet another tough and competitive encounter ahead of this Saturday's vital League Two clash against Hereford United.

New signing Bobby Hopkinson [pictured] is set to make his second start in an Aldershot shirt while the players who found themselves on the bench against Grimsby Town at the weekend are also likely to feature, along with several of the promising youth players who featured in the Reserves victory against Brentford last week.

Speaking to the clubs official website The Shots ahead of the match, Shots boss Gary Waddock said: "It should be another good match - QPR are a very good side and we saw that in the Reserve matches they played against us last season.

"Me and Martin [Kuhl] are looking at our options for Saturday and this type of game gives us the ideal opportunity to cast our eyes over those players who didn't make the team against Grimsby and on the flip side, it's their chance to show us why they should be in our plans."

QPR from: To be advised.

It costs just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions while season ticket holders are admitted free of charge for all Reserve fixtures at the EBB Stadium and the game kicks off at 2pm.
