HAMPSHIRE YOUTH FLOODLIT CUP - SEMI FINAL

ALDERSHOT YOUTH 3 CHRISTCHURCH YOUTH 2

A thrilling match from start to finish

Aldershot took the lead on 7 minutes, then doubled it during first half stoppage time, before Christchurch clawed one back before the interval.

The Shots then took advantage of a mistake by the Christchurch keeper as he walked a bit too far out of his area still with the ball, and captain Matt Madders powered the ball into the net with less than 20 minutes to go.

However if the Shots thought it was all safe, Christchurch fought back and with less than 90 seconds on the clock, they got a second.
The Shots hung in to secure a superb victory, which now sets up an-all Rushmoor affair, as Farnborough won their semi-final 2-0.
