Official Shots website, www.theshots.co.uk has announced that the club are holding open trials for next seasons team on both of the date s above.
To be eligible to play in the Youth Team's league and cup competitions you must be a male born between 01/09/89 and 31/08/91.
Players should report at the Bourley Road Pavilion by 0900 hours. You must bring your own training gear, shin pads and suitable footwear for playing football on grass.
Trials will finish by 1400 hours. Players will be informed on the day if they have been successful and are invited to attend further pre-season training sessions. Good luck!!!

Aldershot Town Youth team compete in the South Western Counties League. Fixtures take place most Saturday (mornings) from the end of August to April. Other clubs in the League include Conference sides Exeter City and Weymouth, local rivals Basingstoke Town and Academy sides affiliated to Bristol Rovers and Bristol City. Shots have finished in the top 4 for the last three seasons, been league cup finalists twice and are in the final of this season's Hampshire Midweek Floodlit Cup. The young Shots also compete in the FA Youth Cup. Matches in this prestigious competition are played on first team grounds.
The Youth team are managed by Chris Palmer, assisted in training by other experienced coaches, and additionally benefit from a fitness trainer.
Current Shots first team players Ryan Scott and Dave Winfield progressed through the clubs' Youth team set-up. This season Youth team player Danny Hylton has featured in First team and Reserve squads, James Powell, Mark Wardell and Damilola Odumosa made their Shots debuts in the Hampshire Senior Cup, Matt Madders and Dan Read have regularly appeared for both Aldershot Reserves and Hampshire Under 18s, whilst Craig Parker, Nick Davies, George Hardy, David Stevens, Billy Wilson, Barry Breen, James Clifford, Ben Finn and Peter Hibbett have all played for the Shots Reserve team in the Pontin's Holidays Combination (against top Reserve sides like Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Millwall). If you've got the ability the sky's the limit!
Directions from M3 to Bourley Road
Leave the M3 at Junction 4 signposted Aldershot and Farnham. At the exit roundabout follow signs onto the A331. Carry on for approx 3 miles until you approach a Gas Holder on the left, the exit is signposted Aldershot Military Town North. Follow the signs for Farnborough A325. Carry on through North Camp going over sets of lights and various roundabouts. You will pass a fire station on the left and arrive at a large roundabout, follow the signs to Farnham A325. Carry on down the dual carriageway for 2 miles passing Potters International Hotel on the right. At the roundabout take the last exit following the signs to the Wellington Statue, this is Wellesley Road. Carry on for 1/4 mile and turn sharp right following the sign to the Wellington Statue. Carry Straight on down this road (Bourley Road) as far as you can and the ground and changing rooms appear on the left.

Follow the signs to Farnborough A325 follow this rd towards Aldershot until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit following the signs for the Wellington Statue, this is Wellesley Rd. Carry on for 1/4 mile and turn sharp right following the sign to the Wellington Statue. Carry straight on down this road (Bourley Road) as far as you can and the ground and changing rooms appear on the left.
