From the start the teams tested each other and the game was waged in the midfield however neither team could take a strangle hold of the match.
The Shots started to find a rhythm and Tracey Marlow's first shot on target hit the inside of the post and rolled across the face of the goal but with no one following in, the chance went begging.
From this, Henley raised their game and saw a fine effort skim The Shots crossbar. Aldershot fought back from this and got themselves back into the game - entering the crossbar challenge with a thundering drive which cannoined off the top bar just minutes later.
Henley employed the use of the long ball tactic to take the lead and undid The Shots defence with a high ball that ended up in the box. With Marsh being hassled from behind by two Henley players, she was unsure if Calder was coming for the ball and headed goalwards - only to see the ball end up in the back of her own net.
With this, The Shots rallied and started to string a number of good moves together. One such move saw Marlow linked up with Wallman and after she had lost her marker she fired her side back on level terms from eighteen yards out.
In the second half The Shot came on strong and a number of chances went begging, and the team became thair worst enemy when they gave away several free kicks around their area, but Calder was up to the task each time to keep The Shots level.
Towards the end The Shots pressed and won a number of corners, and although Coles did manage to find the back of the net, her goal was ruled out for following through on the keeper even though it appeared that she got to the ball first.
The shots have a long journey next weekend when they are away to MK Dons in the league.
Speaking after the match, manager Andy Liddicott stated: "It has been a long week, with extra time last Sunday and with the big pitch at Bracknell, things have started to take its toll on the players.
He continued, "The girls gave everything again today, but they looked shattered after this match.
"We changed a few players around today to try and freshen things up and their aptitude has been fantastic over the last couple games.
"I would have liked three points today, but I'm happy to settle for one.
"Hopefully with a bit of rest, we can go to the MK Dons next week and return with a win. We're certainly confident after putting five goals past them earlier in the season."
