Two changes from the week before saw Hart and Shepherd in for Coles and Hull.
The Shots started the brighter and were well on top after 5 minutes; Shepherd and Ireland were dominating the midfield. The first real chance came from the midfield, when the ball was played out wide to Funnell, and for the second week running, saw her shot crash against the cross bar. Eastleigh did break out of their half, but the threat was always snuffed out by Grover and Hargreaves, and Eastleigh where restricted to long-range efforts which Calder dealt with.
Back at the Eastleigh end the Shots Ladies didn't let up - Nicki Moore came close with a number of shots and Shephard burst through the Eastleigh defence, only to see her shot come back of the post.
After 32 minutes, the deadlock was finally broken, when the ball dropped to the alert Wallman, who lobbed the Eastleigh goalkeeper from outside the box.
After half time, Eastleigh tried to commit players to attack, but after their moves broke down the Shots where able to utilise the space left and put siege on the home side goal.
The second goal came from a long kick from Calder. The Eastleigh defender laid the ball out wide, only for Caz Shephard to tackle her. The ball broke to Funnell, who crossed in behind the defence for Wallman to burst through and slot past the keeper.
This seemed to break Eastleigh, and the Shots went further ahead when the ball was worked from keeper Calder out to Hart at right back. She played in Ireland in the midfield, who touched it out to Shephard who managed to head over the Eastleigh defensive line for Moore to out-muscle her marker and place into the net with the helping hand of the goalkeeper.
After the goal, Emma North was introduced (fresh from a two-month football trip to America) along with Laura Hann. As the Shots pressed, Wallman won a corner, and from the resulting corner Funnell swung the ball in for Wallman to loft the ball over her shoulder into the net
With 15 miuntes to go, Hann, playing in an unusual left sided role, received the ball from Wallman. Hann chipped the ball past her marker and made tracks towards the box. The defenders came across to close her down and left Wallman un-marked outside the box. Wallman took the ball on her left foot and hit her shot towards the goal only for the Eastleigh keeper to touch the ball into the net. The game ended shortly after when a 50/50 challenge ended with an Eastleigh player receiving a serious injury, both managers decided to end the game due to a safety aspect.
"This was a much better performance from the girls; They took on board what we discussed from the Henley game and worked hard in training to put it right. Jamie and myself where very impressed the way the girls approached this game.
We looked really fit and I don't think Eastleigh could handle that side of our game.
It was nice to see club captain Emma North return after her coaching trip to America.
Laura Hann put another good performance in when she came on and looks ready for a full 90 minutes. Overall a very good performance from the girls."

"Eastleigh Ladies have confirmed that Stacey Niven, the player injured at the end of the match on Sunday, was released from Southampton General Hospital with a badly swollen ankle. The good news is that no broken ankle was reported. Full praise must go to Simone Hart, who helped assist medics with Niven's treatment, and everyone at Aldershot Town Ladies wishes Stacey a full and speedy recovery."
