The match will be hotly contested between two of the Southern Region Premier League's top teams, having met on no less than four occasions last season, in League, County Cup, and most memorably in dramatic League Cup fashion.
Last year's League Cup Semi-Final was concluded in a penalty shoot-out after a dramatic two hours of football, which either side could have won. After the Saints opened the scoring on 20 minutes, Emma North equalised in first-half stoppage time to level the scores and that's how they remained for the rest of the game. A Saints goal was ruled out for a foul in extra time and Caz Shephard put a Shots effort over the bar from close-range. In the shoot-out, Saints prevailed 4-2.
However the match was widely praised as a great advert for football by all those who attended and this one should be just as good.
We warmly invite supporters of both clubs, or even if you have a neutral interest, to come and enjoy the match and our hospitality afterwards.
