Aldershot Town Ladies will not get to complete their League season following news that their opposition for their final match - Wycombe Wanderers, are unable to raise a team.

The decision will mean that The Shots Ladies finish in 4th place in the Southern Premier Women's League.

Speaking to the Stray Shots, manager Andy Liddicott said: "I would like to thank the Stray Shots for the great coverage you have given us, we have had a very good season and we have achieved our aim of finishing in the top four.

"We lose Amber Marsh to the Army and Di Smith through retirement, but most of the squad have committed themselves to the club for next season."

The Ladies side are always looking for people to help out off the field and are interested in anyone who is looking to play.
