With a much-reduced squad due to holidays, the Shots reshuffled the pack for this game.
In came Nikki Hargreaves at right back, along with central midfielder Caz Shephard. Smith moved to her usual left back position and Stacey Ireland in a central midfield role.
The Shots started well, and were able get their passing game. Wallman came close to launching onto a number of through balls, which evaded her.
On 13 minutes, the Godalming's defence was breached. The ball was moved down the centre to, Shephard, who then played in to Wallman to fire home to give the visitors the lead.
The Shots kept pressing and Wallman and Coles had to efforts come back of the cross bar. On 45 minutes, the ball was worked out from the back, played into Moore who turned and fired high into the net.
Tracey King took over from Calder in goal to make her debut for the club.
The Shots were hungry for more goals, and on 47 minutes number three came. Wallman was tripped in the box, and the referee duly pointed to the spot. She got up and fired past the keeper to give the Shots a 3-0 lead. On 50 minutes, the Shots won a corner. Moore played the ball to Funnell, who crossed for Coles to head in.
In the attack, Moore and Wallman were causing the Godalming defence all sorts of problems, and with that Wallman completed her hat trick on 69 minutes with a fierce shot. The keeper could only clear back to her and Wallman dispatched past the keeper.
At this point, Shots gave Calder a run out at right back and Coles was playing a holding midfielder role. Moore made it six on 72 minutes when she fired past a stranded keeper.
Yet again the Shots reshuffled, with Grover pushing to the right side and Potter going up front with Wallman. On 80 minutes the ball was fed through the midfield to Funnell out on the left. She drove past the defender and fired a first-time, left foot shot past the keeper from 18 yards.
As the game drew to a close there was time for one more goal, again the ball was played into the box and as the keeper hesitated, Wallman managed to chip the ball past the keeper and defender to finish an 8-0 rout of Godalming.
Andy's Analysis
"Another good performance by the team, we looked very comfortable on the ball, and all the hard work we have done through pre-season is being put into practice in the matches.
