Aldershot started very brightly, controlling the early part of the game and gave Woking no time on the ball. Just 5 minutes into the game the Shots won a corner; Smith delivered the perfect ball to Coles' head, who powered the ball into the back of the net to put the Shots one up. Aldershot were not happy with just the 1 and pressed for more. On the 26th minute from a left lob Hull put the Shots two up. The third was on 4 minutes away when Barker received the ball inside the box and hammered the ball home from 16 yards. Then in the 32nd minute Hann took on the Woking left back with ease and calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net. This was a flying start from the Shots team and Woking could not hand the Shots play, power or pace.
The second half was much the same with Aldershot dominating the game. Woking created and few half chances but Calder only had to make one save all afternoon. In the 58th minute the Woking keeper kick the ball out Hann received the ball 30 yards out, saw the keeper off her line and hit and unstoppable shot that went straight into the back of the net. Hann completed a good afternoon for her and the Shots with her third and the Shots sixth on 75 minutes to complete wrap up the game.
Woking did not know what had hit them, this was the sort of performance that the Shots are capable of and they proved they will be a match for anyone.
