Players continued to impress under the watchful eye of Russ Woolley on Saturday morning as the side visited the home of Tooting & Mitcham.
With one month of trials already under their belts, The Shots were pleased to be able to take to pitch that is graced by the Tooting & Mitchams first team and both clubs battled hard to earn the draw and a happy Woolley told the Stray Shots: "We're aiming to have two strong sides this coming season so it's important we get the right blend of players at the club.
"These games may only be friendlies but the players need as much practice at eleven-a-side as possible. It's a big jump up from the seven-a-side that they're used too.
"I'm happy with how things are going though and we've got some promising youngsters. It's important that the players continue to turn up and try their best each week because next season will be tougher than anything that they've been used too.
"We've had a healthy level of interest from players and that can only be a good thing for the local area as well as the club as a whole."
After the match - which was watched by a fantastic crowd, everyone was invited to the players lounge for refreshments and a great day was had by all.
