In the full article, the reporter said that the Grecians were well worth a point but were punished by goals from Louis Soares and Joel Grant in the final 12 minutes.
It means their 18-year wait for success at the Recreation Ground continues as Tisdale's team struggle to keep pace with the leading pack in the Blue Square Premier.
The manager insisted his side deserved to take something out of the contest and conceding a last double underlined their luck at the moment.
"That is the way it is going for us," said Tisdale. "We hardly gave them a shot really apart from the odd set-piece in our box.
"We set up to counter them and we were caught offside one too many times when we had really good chances.
"It is a really cruel blow. We felt for the first 80 minutes we had control of the game. The goal was a deflected goal, so that makes it even crueller."
Tisdale admitted he was disappointed with the response of his side after they fell behind on 78 minutes when Soares' drive got an unlucky deflection off defender Dean Moxey.
"The one thing I am not happy about is the way we responded after that goal," added Tisdale. "I would have wanted more and it didn't come and, as a result, we conceded a second. That was the one bit I was disappointed with.
"We deserved at least a draw from this match but that is just the way it is going for us at the moment."
The game hinged on a crazy 30 seconds in the second half when Lee Elam squandered a glorious chance to make the breakthrough before Aldershot swept up the other end to score themselves.
"It was a cruel 30 seconds," lamented Tisdale. "But we had enough chances in the game. Although it was tight, we still had the chances. We had a couple of near post balls in that flashed past and the big moment came when Lee Elam was one-one-one, followed by them scoring 30 seconds later. It was a big 30 seconds and we came off worse."
