The Vics chairman told the Guardian today that every player had been called in individually as an inquest into Saturday's humiliating defeat at Aldershot continues.
Five of them - three of whom signed this summer - have been told they have no future at the club.
Simon Rusk, made captain by Redfearn after he dropped original choice Michael Welch, is perhaps the biggest surprise on the list.
Brad Maylett, Michael Byrne, Kevin Townson and Greg Strong are the others.
"The lads who have been here longest are the ones who knows what it means to play for Northwich," said Connett.
"They're the ones with pride and who are giving us 100 per cent - others are not."
The quintet are unlikely to feature for the crunch weekend clash with Histon, by which time Redfearn hopes to have added at least two players on loan.
