Tisdale hailed the character and spirit of his players after they came close to salvaging a point, having played for more than an hour with 10 men after the dismissal of keeper Paul Jones for a professional foul.
However, he was furious with the defensive mistakes that gifted the home side soft goals.
"As far as the performance goes the endeavour and effort the players showed will take them a long way," said Tisdale "But you can't keep talking about the team and everyone working hard together when certain things keep happening.
"In the crucial moments, we let ourselves down. A near-post corner again and there are one or two players who are paid to do things at those situations and have not stepped up and done their job correctly.
"And I can't bring everyone into that. We can work our socks off in training, we can spend hours pouring over videos, but if the players cannot step up I will find new players.
'The second goal was pathetic and it was down to two players - the keeper and Danny Seaborne. I don't care who said what to who, it was pathetic. The third goal was a bit reckless but you are going to get that when you are down to 10 men and chasing the game.
"I thought we were going to get an equaliser. Even with 10 men on the field, I thought we had the better of it."
