Monday May 2nd will see the links between Portsmouth, their supporters and the wider community renewed and revitalised, as following a supporters' meeting, the fans, supported by the club, Express FM, and The News, have announced that a Fans Day will be held in the Fratton Park car park.
Designed to celebrate "all the things that are good about being a Pompey fan", the event will also raise money for local charitable causes in the Tom Prince Trust and the Portsmouth Sports and Education Foundation.
After the well-documented trials and tribulations at Portsmouth in recent times, the day will hopefully demonstrate that despite the ongoing hardships, a great deal can be achived when fans come together and act as a collective force for positive change.
