Senior joined Alty on loan in January and went on to make a total of eight starts and seven substitute appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
The 25-year-old re-joins former teammates Colin Little, Val Owen and Karl Munroe as ex-Shaymen currently playing at Moss Lane.
He started his career with Huddersfield Town and had spells with Wakefield-Emley and Scarborough before signing for Halifax on a free transfer in August, 2005.
