A statement on the club's official website reads as follows: "The Board of Crawley Town FC would like to tell our supporters that despite these rumours, settling the CVA, and securing our Conference status has always been the main focus for the Board of the club.

"The Directors and staff at the club are currently working hard with Begbies Traynor to clear up any disputes over payments before receiving a final figure of the full amount owed, and once received, a cash amount will be lodged with the administrators early next week, before the Friday, 11th May deadline.

"The Board of Crawley Town Football Club are in contact with the Football Association and the Conference Board and are fully aware of the actions that will be imposed on the club if the CVA deadline is not met by Friday, 11th May.

"Funds are in place, and we are pleased that owner Azwar Majeed has not had to sell the property which was to be auctioned by the administrations.

"It has been a difficult season for everyone involved in the club, including staff, players and fans, but after the tremendous efforts in sustaining league status, the Directors at Crawley Town are dedicated to ensuring the completion of the CVA, guaranteeing our status in the Blue Square Premier League."
