The bottom-half of the Nationwide Conference table is packed tightly, with only nine points between last placed Tamworth and Glenn Cockerill's Woking.
The U's face six away matches between now and the end of the season, with high flyer's York City and Dagenham & Redbridge amongst their upcoming opponents.
"It's less pressure than playing at home, and we're able to relax a little bit," Quinn told the Cambridge Evening News.
"We want to stay on the unbeaten run we're on as that breeds confidence, but while a point is better than none, three points makes a massive difference.
"We've just got to keep it tight and keep clean sheets to give ourselves the best chance as, at this level, you're always going to get one or two opportunities. We need to take them."
