Conference News: FA To Investigate Salisbury Incident

Last updated : 10 September 2007 By Stray Shots Team

The 1-1 draw ended with both sides reduced to ten men after Salisbury's Michael Fowler and Rushden's Curtis Woodhouse were shown red cards for a second half encounter.

The battle then spilled off the pitch at Raymond McEnhill Stadium, with the teams' benches involved in an unseemly scuffle which left Salisbury coach Tommy Widdrington nursing a suspected broken nose.
