Managerless Rushden & Diamonds who have been knocked back by Tamworth boss Mark Cooper, just days ago are believed to have had their second knock back in as many days with Gravesend & Northfleet boss, Liam Daish now believed to have rejected the opportunity to speak to club officials.
Speaking to the BBC Godden said, "I am willing to help out anyone who comes in, but I am not really interested in being manager.
"It is not right for me at my stage of life, but I am willing to carry on as long as the club want me to, and I think things will be sorted out soon."
