The Shots will be hoping they can stay focussed for the full 90 minutes having thrown away a two-goal lead against their opposition at the EBB Stadium back in February and having failed to register a win in their previous four fixtures, The Shots will be looking to end the season on a high note and get back to winning ways.
The Shots enter the match in 14th place in League Two with 58 points from 45 games, while Lincoln are just one place above the relegation spaces in 22nd with 47 points from the same amount of games.
Shots Team News
Shots boss Dean Holdsworth has confirmed that his side won’t be taking to the field against Lincoln just to make up the numbers.
Speaking to the Premium Shots ahead of the match, Holdsworth said: ”For me it’s an exciting challenge. When you’ve been a professional for a good part of 23 years, you rely on other people being professional around you in your job capacity and we owe it to every other player and person who has worked hard at the other clubs in question, and we will go out and do the best job we can and also for the fact that I’m sure Steve Tilson would look at us and think “I don’t want to stay up knowing that Aldershot took their foot off the gas”.
”They’ve got to know that the season isn’t won or lost on one game and it’s important that we carry on and go and play football.“
”It’s a massive pressure game for them [Lincoln] and they have also got to rely on other teams but I’m looking at what’s here [at Aldershot] and asking them to be professional, do their job, not focus on trying to get anybody relegated – to simply do their jobs and that means I want them to win a game of football.”
Jack Randall [broken leg] remains the only Shots' player not guaranteed a place in the starting line-up and although Holdsworth has said that there are one or two injuries ahead of the match, he wouldn’t be drawn any further saying only that he will be monitoring one or two of the players' fitness.

The Opposition
The Red Imps enter the match in the knowledge that a win will see them safe in League Two for another season, however they will have to ensure that they manage to match Barnet’s result to also stand a chance of avoiding the drop and manager Steve Tilson isn’t displaying any of his cards ahead of the match.
Speaking to the local media ahead of the match Tilson said: ”Tomorrow's game is the biggest I've probably ever been in charge of.
”But tomorrow is a one-off. It's a cup final and we have just got to go and win it.
"The players will be under pressure and the biggest thing I will be trying to get them to do is play without any fear. If they go out there and they are nervous and tense then it's only going to hinder their performance.
"But everyone will be willing us on to get a result."
Mustapha Carayol [hamstring] and Delroy Facey [shoulder] are confirmed absentees given they are both suffering from long-term injuries while Danny Hone is suspended.
