The Dons, currently upper mid-table in the Ryman Premier League - two leagues below their hosts began the game well and ot took The Shots about fifteen minutes to get to grips with their visitors and then it was a case of back to normal with countless attempts ending in poor finishing and balls that made it in to the final third being wasted time and time again.
John Grant managed to gove The Shots a half time lead but it was a relaxed performance after the break which cost Terry Browns men as The Dons took full control and grabbed two counter punches after 60 and 65 minutes to finish The Shots off.
With a big Dons following of around 1000 supporters it was them who deserved the plaudits for bringing a great atmosphere with them and with only around 1500 Shots fans in attendance, it was plain to see just what "we" thought of the competition and got what we deserved.
