The club's have ear-marked July 10 as the date to play for the Charles Mortimore Trophy — an event they are looking at competing for each year from now on.
Mr Mortimore is president of Farnborough Town and a great friend of Aldershot's having run the District Schools team for many years.
The first game this summer will be a Testimonial to his efforts and the clubs are discussing plans to put on a social event in the evening for fans to meet up.
