Anthony Charles Returns

Anthony Charles, Barnet's 6ft 2ins tall former England non-league international, has rejoined Nationwide Conference side Aldershot Town on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old central defender scored two goals in 27 appearances for the Shots in the 2002-03 season. He has made 66 appearances for the Bees (six more as a substitute) since signing from
Farnborough Town at the beginning of 2005 for £13,000 -- but has not scored a goal. Barnet supporters chipped in to the players' fund that season to help bring Charles to Underhill.

Charles will link again with former Barnet midfielder Louis Soares at the Recreation Ground. He has only figured once in the side this year, as left back cover, with Simon King and Ismail Yakubu he recognised first choice central defensive partnership.
