The Bucks Free Press have spoken to Shots midfielder Scott Donnelly who has said that he could be a Chairboy's player by the end of the week.
The club, who were relegated from League One last season are currently managed by former Shots mamangement team of Gary Waddock and Martin Kuhl and there has been no secret that they were after the midfielder, having had a transfer offer turned down during last season.
Current Shots manager Kevin Dillon has made the player an improved offer, however it appears that Donnelly has got his heart set on the move and the chance to link up again with his former boss Waddock..
Speaking to the paper he said: “Wycombe is my favoured one. Hopefully it will not take too long and hopefully by the end of the week we might have sealed the deal.
“Aldershot know the situation and I’ve told them that I am waiting to see what other things happen.
“There’s a few other things going on but nothing as attractive as Wycombe.”
