SHOTS bring in midfielder.
20-year old Emmanuel “Manny” Oyeleke has joined Aldershot Town in a youth loan deal until December 22nd.
Brentford development squad player Emmanuel Oyeleke, has moved to North Hampshire on loan and will be available for today’s opening Skrill Premier League game at Blundell Park.
The deal will see the player remain with Andy Scott’s side up until two days before his 21st birthday, however his parent club will retain the ability to recall the player at 24 hours’ notice after the first 28 days of the deal.
Manny made his Brentford debut in an FA Cup Second Round tie against Wrexham in December 2011 and has made two further appearances for The Bees, in a League One game against Milton Keynes Dons and in Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup tie against Dagenham and Redbridge.
He also had a spell on loan at Northampton Town last season.
Speaking about the move, Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, told his clubs website: “Manny has been working with the First Team in pre-season and had done well enough to be given a chance on Tuesday night.
“He now has the opportunity to go out on loan and play regular competitive football.
“The Conference in tough, there are lots of games in a short space of time and he will have the pressure of playing for points.
“Manny has done a good job at Development Squad level but now has to step up and play competitive men’s football.
“We will watch with interest how he does over the next few months.”
The Shots boss added: “I’ve known Manny for several years and he has developed into a very good young player,” when speaking to the official Aldershot Town website.
“The fact that he started Brentford’s Capital One Cup tie against Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday shows how highly rated he is by them.
“I am excited about working with him, and am extremely grateful to Brentford for their help in allowing this deal to happen.”
