Blackburn To Wrexham

Last updated : 20 May 2010 By Mike Wray

Aldershot Town defender Chris Blackburn has signed a two year deal with Conference side Wrexham.

The 27-year old joined The Shots two years ago after being released by Swindon Town and has been a useful player at the EBB Stadium and will no doubt spark the start of the summer clear out following the clubs exit from the League Two play offs on Wednesday evening.

We here at Stray Towers wish Blackie all the best in his new challenge and hope things work out for him as no doubt Wrexham will be looking for promotion next season.

Meanwhile, Marlon Jackson has also been confirmed as having returned to Bristol City following his loan spell coming to an end and has been offered a new contract by the Robins, while Dean Morgan and Damian Spencer are both expected to have their returns confirmed by their clubs in the coming days.
