Bristol Rovers star Ryan Williams has moved to the Recreation Ground following his contract expiring at midnight with the Bristol club.
News broke on the official Rovers website yesterday afternoon that the player had signed for Crawley Town - however BBC SCR spoke to officials from their club who point blankly denied the announcement.
Hope was again raised that the speedy winger - who had impressed during a loan spell at the Recreation Ground could well be on his way to the club today.
27-year old Williams has agreed a contract to keep him at the club until May 2007 and will go straight into Terry Browns squad for tomorrows match against Exeter City.
