Terry Brown has told the clubs official website, www.theshots.co.uk that Gary Holloway is set to leave the Recreation Ground and sign for Lewes.

He told the site, "People may view this as a surprise but Gary has the opportunity to work in his father's business as a builder and if he combines this with part time football then he will be far better off financially.

"It is not for a want of offers either as I know that Chester City offered him a two year contract."

The move will see him join the Conference South club which one Shots supporter has named - "Lewes, where old Shots go to die".

He'll be joining the likes of Cash, Lovett, Harkin, Hooper, Simpemba,
Hamilton and D'Sane.
